Re-purposing Clothing with Printmaking (Wednesday, 10-23)
Join me at the Dzanc House Gallery for a fun time learning to create in my favorite medium. I will teach you all of my tips and tricks for doing block printing.
Plus, if you have an old t-shirt in the back of your closet that you just don’t wear much anymore, let’s give it some new life with printmaking!
One of my favorite things do do is print on clothing and even better—repurpose some of my old tees or sweatshirts with my favorite art. You may bring one or two pieces to re-purpose.
The block size for carving will be a choice between your standard 4x6 inch block or a larger 6x12 inch blocks called easy carve by Speedball. This, fabric ink, and all the other materials needed to create will be provided.
